ICanSolveIT does not collect any other personal data through this website directly. ICanSolveIT does not use cookies for tracking or analytics and does not use any advertising. Third-party services embedded in this site (see below) may set their own cookies when their widgets load.
If you use the Book a Call page, your booking data is collected directly by cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. ICanSolveIT does not receive or store this data.
This website includes a live chat widget provided by Tawk.to. If you use the live chat, Tawk.to may collect your chat messages, IP address, browser and device information, and any personal details you type into the chat. This data is processed by Tawk.to, not by ICanSolveIT.
Why ICanSolveIT collects it and the legal basis
ICanSolveIT collects your name and email address solely to respond to your enquiry. ICanSolveIT will not contact you for any other purpose without your explicit agreement.
The legal basis for processing this information under UK GDPR is legitimate interests: specifically, ICanSolveIT’s legitimate interest in responding to people who make contact with a business enquiry. ICanSolveIT has assessed that this interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms, given that you are voluntarily submitting the form and expecting a reply.
How long ICanSolveIT keeps it
ICanSolveIT retains contact form submissions for up to 12 months. After that period, messages are deleted. If your enquiry leads to a working engagement, ICanSolveIT may retain relevant contact details for the duration of that engagement and for up to 6 years afterwards for contractual record-keeping purposes.
Who ICanSolveIT shares it with
ICanSolveIT does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
Your contact form message is delivered to ICanSolveIT by email. The email delivery service is provided by Resend(Resend Inc.), which acts as a data processor on ICanSolveIT’s behalf. Resend processes your name and email address solely to transmit your message to ICanSolveIT and operates under its own privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy. ICanSolveIT’s business email inbox is hosted by Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which receives and stores the delivered message on ICanSolveIT’s behalf. Microsoft operates under its own privacy policy at privacy.microsoft.com.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.), a spam and bot prevention service. When you submit the contact form, Turnstile analyses signals from your browser and interaction behaviour to verify that the submission is from a human and not an automated bot. This processing is necessary to protect the integrity of the contact form and prevent abuse. Cloudflare operates under its own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
If you use the Book a Call page, your booking information (name, email address, and chosen time slot) is processed directly by cal.com as a data processor. ICanSolveIT does not receive or store this data. The cal.com booking embed may also set cookies in your browser when it loads. Cal.com operates under its own privacy policy at cal.com/privacy. ICanSolveIT does not control how cal.com handles that data.
This website includes a live chat widget provided by Tawk.to(tawk.to Inc.). If you use the live chat, Tawk.to acts as a third-party data processor and may collect your chat messages and transcripts, IP address, browser and device information, and any personal details you type into the chat. This data may be stored on Tawk.to’s servers. ICanSolveIT does not control how Tawk.to handles that data. Tawk.to operates under its own privacy policy at tawk.to/privacy-policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
